Toronto City Councillor Gord Perks

Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon

September 5, 2007 · Leave a Comment

This year, the Oasis Neighbourhood Challenge for the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 30th.   During this event, I would again like to let everyone know that parking on parkland is not permitted.  Please be advised that Parks, Forestry and Recreation staff will be out on the 30th ticketing vehicles that are parked on parkland, as they do for any major events.  This year’s Parkdale/Roncesvalles site will be hosted by the Revue Film Society, at Lakeshore and Palais Royale, underneath the footbridge over Lakeshore from the foot of Roncesvalles. I hope that you will support the Revue Film Society and the great work they are doing to revive the Revue Theatre.  Come out and help them to raise funds and generate awareness of this great cause! Please visit their page at http://www.torontowaterfrontmarathon.com/en/nc/nc2.htm This year, Melanie and April Boultbee will be running for the Parkdale/Roncesvalles neighbourhood, and for the Revue Film Society.  Check out the link below to find out more http://www.torontowaterfrontmarathon.com/en/nc/nc2.htm#april See you there!
